In high school I was voted "Most Likely to Succeed". My reaction to this superlative was surprise because I was expecting "Most Involved" (which I was also nominated for). The reason I was expecting "Most Involved" opposed to "Most Like to Succeed" was because I was school president and essentially a member of every club on campus.
I am so thankful to have had a class, a high school, a community to get involved in that believed that I was meant to succeed. In the same way, I looked at my peers and saw so much potential in each person and the possibilities of what we could achieve together.
My class was the first graduating class of our newly established high school and in our four years together we had to create our culture and set up traditions for years to follow. At times we felt like we were the odd school out and always making things as we went on and personally, I enjoyed a lot of it. It was a rare experience we were all in together and together we were able to succeed. I'm curious what every one is up to now.
That reminds me, our 10 year reunion is this year!
GOAL: Plan my high school 10 year reunion
STEP 1: Assemble a team
